I understand it, but it took me awhile. Majors aren't difficult to find in Texas. The thing is that it seems to me that females are out in hoards from January to August.....that's where the Majors are......so, if you're showing a dog, you have to depend on the "Cheap" Major (crossing over the points) to put a Major on a dog. Then from August to the end of the year the Majors will pick up on dogs.....
Talk is that AKC is attempting to do away with crossing over the points.....thinking that will draw the enteries....they don't get it that it's the economy and the upping the AKC % that has forced each Kennel Club to up their entry fees.
