Mary, that confused me one time too when I saw a dog win, what I though was 2 points but the owner reported he won a 3 point major so I asked her about it. What happened was that the male got WD for 2 points but he also beat 2 male specials when he won Best of Breed so that brought up the number of male dogs he beat enough to make it 3 points. It can get confusing. Personally I like them having Best of Winners because it does give more of an opportunity for majors; they are hard enough to find as it is.
