OMG!!! I'm so glad to see this post....I was horrified this summer when we had a zillion Japanese Beetles in our yard. We couldn't go out on my porch without Rily finding one, and, yes, eating it before we could stop him. I was so worried about this, but it must of not hurt him because he didn't get sick. Lord only knows what else he eat.
