yes i have to agree here in dealing with pancreatitis now that being said I learned when dex vomitted a few weeks ago on a tiny i mean really tiny piece of yam with no butter , etc he started vomitting like crazy and they did say if your dog has had it anything can trigger it not just fatty foods as the pancreas controls the enzymes to digest food and just the slightest change can set them off sadly -- luckily after 15 hrs of vomitting and me withdrawing food and at one point water to stop the cycle he was fine but a dog that has had pancreatitis you have to be extremely careful. A vet on our maltese group her dog got pancreatitis from a grub he ate outside so once they have it anything can set them off and this breed is really prone to pancreatitis naturally as i believe they have a high amount of fat in their blood already and why my boy has high triglycerides which leads them very susceptible so diet is real important in this breed.
