Welcome to you and your pup! Sounds like you are having lots of fun together. I have a little hint for biting. When we first got Daisy, every time she would start to bite our hand (playing) we would give her one of those gummy Nylabones instead. We would play tug and let her chew on it. It seemed to be the right thing because she never bites us when we are playing. She is almost 2. Just keep a close eye on the gummy bone and replace when it starts chunking off.
