Bailey is a level 1 LP. She had an issue with it when she was about 8 mos old. I was considering taking her to an ortho to discuss surgery (per the vet's advice) - but wanted to wait until after the holidays. Oddly, after the initial vet visit, Bailey never limped again.

A few weeks ago, someone posted that their dog's LP was aggravated by surgery....so, it kinda makes sense to me that Bailey's spay aggravated her LP for a few weeks? Not sure that is really what happened - but it makes perfect sense to me. She's two and half now and is still a level 1.

So, I guess what I'm saying - if your baby starts to limp - please don't jump to surgery right away.
