At this point I have pretty much given up on finding a handler who has experience with Biewers and I am just looking for a handler who has experience with standard Yorkshire Terriers. It is of course very important to me that I find someone well known who will take just as good of care of my little guy as I would. Plus, I need to find someone who is willing to show with the NAKC and IABCA since Biewers can not be shown with the AKC. Also, I would like some advice on when to start showing him...he is 4 months right now. Some suggestions from any 'show guru's' would really be appreciated. |
I can tell you that the large breed handlers who show in NAKC get 2400 a month to show the dogs plus bonuses for each best in breed and BIS. I have yet to see any professional handlers showing biewers...and honestly suggest doing it yourself. I have been showing Frazier since he was your pup's age.
