Crystal is sooo right. Many, many yorkies and other small breeds are affected.
You need to start doing some research about luxating patellas and surgery, because if it gets bad enough, you need to have the knowledge to decide whether surgery is the route you want to take. Many live just fine with it and some need surgery.
