I just saw this thread I am so sorry to hear about this. Our Yorkie doesn't play with toys but she still hits her head sometimes. Just the other night she got so excited with hubby came home she hit her head on the stair rail flipping around to run to him. It happens and I don't think anything but a mini crash helmet can stop it. lol I pray your little one continues to improve!
