Also is she the only dog? Now I don't know if I was just lucky but I had Queenie a border collie at the time and she was house broke so maybe Queenie help me too. Then I got Max and he was part house broke. So I broke both at the same time. Seeing one go would make the other go.
Ivy would step in it and smear it all over too, even in her crate

like you I would come home and the 1st thing I would have to do was give her a bath. Now she never does that.

I don't know how long you are gone for when you go out, but I come home at lunch to take them out. That too will make a big difference. If you can't get home maybe you could find someone to do it for you?
