I'm not sure. Like I said, I'm a rookie and didn't insist on seeing the parents. I've learned a lot since then (much thanks to YT) and wish I had researched more before buying him. When my dh and I went to TN, we were interested in a yorkiepoo, but Rily was the one we brought home. I'm just glad that I got his AKC application, whether I ever register him or not. I really don't think I got him from a puppy mill, but I'm thinking now that she might have been a broker/breeder. I haven't found anything negative about her on the internet, so maybe her operation is okay. Mr. Rily is my life now....no matters!!!
