Hi everyone!
Thanks so much for all the responses! Taking him up to the bathroom with me seems like a very good idea. He's still going on wee wee pads and I'm going to allow him to continue to use the pads because my husband and I are both lawyers and work quite a bit, so we don't want the little one to have to hold his pee for 8+ hours. He's so teeny! That just seems mean...I live in Northern NJ, but near a very urban area, so all walks must be on leashes on sidewalks, and we don't have a fenced in backyard.

What I've been doing lately is just getting 90% ready, then heading downstairs and my 2 yr old Lhasapoo will come down off the bed and join me to go see his baby brother. I then take out little Sparky (my Yorkie) and let Chewy and Sparky play while Mom finishes her makeup and packing up her bag for work.

He's getting really good with holding his pee for the night, I've been testing by sleeping on the couch with my two babies....but he does get off the bed in the night to go on the pad in the living room. My concern is that we have a four post very high bed. We have steps that my lhasapoo walks right up, so I also have to get the little one used to those....

Just doesn't seem fair to allow one on the bed and not the other....

Thanks again for all the advice everyone! I really appreciate it!
