My yorkie started changing his color when he was 10 months old. It does take a couple of years. Anywhy that was what I notice with my boy. Your little girl probably won't reach five pounds. I wouldn't breed her if she doesn't reach 5lbs. I won't breed my girls unless they weigh 5lbs and up.
