i feel bad that you got trapped into spending so much money on a dog with tapeworms, mattes, and pee all over her, did you not get to go check out the dog before you put money on her? i'm sure you've just rescued her from a horrible life!!

as for the problem with peanut not getting along with her, i agree to give it more time and to let them adapt and adjust to each other. it takes dogs awhile to learn to adjust their "pack" to include a new member. they will most likely become good friends due to them both having to get used to living together and being around each other more often.

after about a month or so, if they still really can't seem to bond and you wanted to sell her, i would definitely make sure you have a spay listed in the purchasing contract. or spay her yourself if you had time to keep her that long. how old is she btw??

also, i can't believe the breeder would charge 1500 for a dog that isn't healthy and perfect for one thing and i also can't believe that person wouldn't take the dog back from you if you decided it wasn't going to work out. a responsible breeder would never let a dog go to a home without allowing the new owner to give the dog back. most breeders who are responsible care so much about the health and well being of the puppy that they would rather take it back than see it sold to another person they haven't checked out themselves. i'm sorry that you didn't seem to get the dog from a responsible breeder, but just give her time so she can adjust to your new life with her and to peanut, because it seems like you have rescued this baby and re homing her twice in such a short time would be a little traumatic for the baby...

good luck and i wish you the best in your new baby and your big decisions! hope it all works out and i really hope they become friends.
