When it comes to getting milk, I would say there is not a normal pattern you can count on. All females are different. Some get milk any where from a week to a day or so in advance and some have no milk until after the pups are born.

I know the temperature being down really worries you. I would get her to eat and give her some nutri-cal and then wait an hour and see if her temperature has come back up. Personally I have learned you cannot depend on the temperature drop. I have had females deliver when their temperature was 100 degrees. I have also read that often the low temperature is due to a faulty thermometer.
