I would be the first to admit that I was one of the people who lobbied for new rules in this forum for people trying to rehome. There have been members that have come here for help in rehoming at were attacked and driven away. It is beyond upsetting to me when an animal is being put into the possibility of danger but now I am left to wonder if it is more appropriate to just not say anything at all.
It was my understanding of the Rescue Rules of posting in this forum was for the member trying to rehome a pup to not be attacked for giving their dog up. From what I can see and read, no one attacked or posted negatively to the OPer~ but I will go back and reread what I said. It is very concerning to me that someone who is not financially stable would want to take on yet another dog and is being congratulated and encourage to do so.
Next time I will contact the person and direct them to the appropriate information in PMs and allow other members to be mislead on the boards to past history.
It is NOT mean when the information is a FACT so I will have to disagree with you on that point of your post. I linked the information that Cindy wrote herself so I am confused as to why that would be mean?
Wouldn't that be consider public information if it was posted on YT for all to read? Pretty sure that would be considered by most as such. Now if I said all of the things going through my head right now that would be mean but that is not the kind of person that I am.
