I would have to agree 100% with both Ladyjane and Manilos Mom. Being that LadyJane is part of Yorkie Haven Rescue and has rehomed MANY yorkies very successfully to wonderful homes there should be NO QUESTION about the advice that she has given to the OPer about placing this or any other puppy. If I didn't already have 3 of my own and a foster I would offer to take him as an owner surrender so that he does not fall into the wrong hands. One of my yorkies has some behavior issues and I would never rehome him because he is now my responsibility
Cynsir~IMO there is not a good and reputable rescue out that that would be willing to let you adopt from them. Max was allowed to jump off your bed 2 times which resulted in him breaking both his legs, you decided to rehome a dog that was a "rescue" because he was a
behavior issue, and you already have several dogs in your home that you are not financially capable of taking care of now. You said in your previous posts
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...oken-legs.html you
clearly state multiple times that you
did not have the money to care for Max and his broken legs. I
PERSONALLY offered to help you get him into rescue but you refused and not in a very nice way either.

I offered to drive to your home and take Max for the care he needed but my offer was refused by you. You were unwilling to do the right thing to help your dog who was injured from December 28 2008 until he passed away in May 2009.
IMO and as a volunteer with rescue there is no way that any of this is responsible pet ownership. If I was unable to provide proper care for one of my dogs I would have made the decision
out of love to turn him over so that he could received proper care in a timely and appropriate time frame and not suffer any further.
I would also like to add that I just recently had a broken arm and it was the MOST PAINFUL thing that has ever happened to me. I too needed surgery and had a plate and 8 screws placed to stabilize my injury~this was done 4 days after my break. I can't even imagine going months without treatment because of lack of funds. If I would have had to endure that much pain any longer that I did I would probably killed myself~I am totally serious about the amount of pain I was in. If the vet was recommending pinning and an appliance to hold the bones into place there would have been no cutting on the skin involved and all would have been done on the surface of the skin. As for the ligaments that for months would not have moved due to the breaks, the physical therapy would have been extensive and VERY painful. My arm was in a cast for only 4 weeks and I am still in physical therapy 6 weeks later 3 days a week. The therapist said that it will be 12 to 18 months for me to fully regain 100% mobility.
Once again this in only my opinion and everyone who will want to run me out of town on a rail go right ahead. I firmly stand behind my opinion and all of this can be read and was put into print right here on YT so there has been no twisting of words involved.
