Default Iraqi Bundles of Love - NOT Political Attn: Quilters/Sewists/Knitters

I just wanted to make sure everyone knew about Iraqi Bundles of Love:
Iraqi Bundles of Love

A soldier is collecting fabric one "bundle" at a time and distributing it to Iraqi women. I know we have a lot of people who sew/knit on this site. They are encouraging people to pull fabrics/notions from their stash (even yarn for knitting, pins, needles, seam rippers, etc.) and pack a bundle in an APO Flat Rate Box. I'm sending some fabric and some huge spools of thread. It hasn't made the main stream media yet but it's all over the crafting blogs. The deadline to send is this weekend. I just think it is really neat what this guy is doing. His wife is a quilter

I don't in any way mean for this to be political, so please don't discuss the politics of it. It's just a soldier trying to help the locals. If you don't like it, don't participate But I was in awe of what this one soldier was doing and I wanted to share.
