Here in our area, Lepto is advised, and thankfully both of my furbutts had no issues. I have to wonder about a vet who would
advise doing multiple shots on little ones?? Even the rabies shot was split up for Lola because she's so tiny. I drive mine about 50 miles one way to their vet, and have made 3 or 4 trips rather than take a chance on a problem. Better safe than sorry!
