DH and I are going to DC in October for a wedding and this will be the first time I will be away from Gizmo
. We will be staying at Hotel Palomar which is a pet friendly hotel. I was thinking that we could just take him with us? The car ride would be about 7-8 hours, but then DH said that he would be left alone in the hotel almost all day long while we are there (4 days) and he would be in a strange environment so he might get really upset. If he stayed home he would be here with my mother-in-law but he is used to sleeping with us every night so it breaks my heart knowing that he is going to be so sad if I'm not here to go to bed with him! Maybe I should just not go to the wedding!!!! Oh what to do?!!
