AKC labeled Mercedes "Tan". Kind of odd, but fine with me. She is definelty strawberry-blonde, but I can't imagine they'd want to put that on paper for a dog. Also, I think Mavrick is a redleg on top of everything else. He is much darker than Mercedes now. His body hair is sparse and his head is fuller. They are 5 months old now so I'll have to work REALLY hard at getting a nice pictures of them. Seems like I need some sort of "picture pill" to give them if they are ever going to hold still long enough for me to snap a few.
