i do most all my grooming. I've never had that happen, but fancy is a little yorkie rescue. She had been shaved down pretty close when i adopted her. That was last august & her hair is getting really pretty now. I had heard it was a good idea to shave as much of the puppy hair off as possible, so their longer adult hair can start coming in. I don't know!! I am sure he is beautiful & his hair will grow back so if need be in the winter put some clothes on him to help keep him warm.
