She should be fine without pain meds, it will help to keep her from overdoing. For a week or two you want to limit exercise (jumping, running, stairs) to give her time to heal. Make sure you offer her some food, don't wait for her to go to her bowl. You may have to feed her by hand. Some Nutrical wouldn't hurt either.
