This is something I pulled from another website: "Cosequin’s key ingredients are Glucosamine Hydrochloride and Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate. These ingredients work to maintain optimal joint function by promoting support cartilage production and protecting existing cartilage from deterioration. Cosequin also includes Manganese to aid in the uptake of glucosamine in dogs. Cosequin is a trusted name amongst the dog community and their products are known to make significant improvements in dogs."

So Cosequin has Glucosamine in it along with other ingredients from what I gather. Hope this helps
