water just doesn't get in there unless they are standing right under the water the entire time. Morgan moves to one end or the other and if she gets sprayed she moves away. I soap her up the same way i'd do it in the sink so i make sure no soap gets in her eyes. it doesn't get splashed around. i've never had a problem with either and i don't even worry about it
after the bath i'll take a cotton ball and dry the insides of her ears but i don't even do that every time. she's never gotten an ear infection.
