. Those ones are ummm, difficult to eat. But the good ones, the white part turns clear black like an obsidian stone, you know the volcanic rock? The texture is like a firm gelatin. The yolk turns blue grey and it's very creamy and smooth. I like it with salt, but usually you eat it in rice porridge with ground pork, green onion and ginger.
So anyway, the preservation method in tea turns it black. Not that they are 100% preserved anyway, they still have to be refrigerated. so IDK
