I think my dog may have intestinal peritonitis - she has been shot with a small caliber 22. I can't really afford to take her to the vet, so he has advised to give her antibiotics until Sunday night. If she is not improving on Monday morning, he wants me to bring her in because he feels that if she isn't better by then, she could have intestinal peritonitis.

Has anyone had any experience with this? How much does the treatment cost? She weighs about 25 pounds.
