If this is such a problem for so many people, I don't understand why you just don't put your dirty clothes in a hamper with a lid
My golden was getting garbage out and shredding it, so I had my dh build a larger garbage garbage can with a hinged lid out of wood so that my dog couldn't get into it. Problem solved. Seems a little easier with Yorkies since they are little and would not be able to get into a hamper.
