I figured I will have to switch gears once she is in labor. It is funny how your instincts kick in. I have delivererd a horse two years ago but I knew about it from the start and had friend 1/2 a block away if I got into trouble, But I did it after many sleepless nights. This little girl is a bit more scary after reading about all the different things that can go wrong. I did get my vets cell phone number at least and his office is a 1/2 a block away and this forum has been a fantastic support system. I just don't have to many friends near by that have bred and espescially not small breeds. I have read a bunch on line and I have the book "The joy of breeding your own show dog".
