Any antibiotic can cause stomach upset, nausea, upset stomach, etc. I thought he didn't put her on anything though...just something for anemia?
Anyway, it is very apparent that if the vet just said that he/she couldn't figure out what was wrong with her and just said to watch her and didn't advise anything on the pups or anything...you just need a new vet, hands down. Vets are everywhere and its not hard to find a new one. I cannot imagine a vet saying that a temp of 105 is ok and just send a dog home, especially a dog that has just whelped unless it was a pretty crappy vet. You are at high risk of losing mom and the pups in this situation. If the mom really has an infection and is on Baytril, mom could be ok,but the pups? I would get a second opinion ASAP...I wouldn't wait till Monday, or even tomorrow.
