Okay, maybe I should just clip the area instead of shaving it. That's why I posted here first cause naturally, I don't want to hurt him or anything. I was also concerned about a razor pulling his hair too. His poop usually is firm, but I think he poops, gets a cling on, then sits and it smashes or something. It gets hidden in his long hair and I don't notice it until it's all dried. I don't think his groomer cuts much, if at all, in that area because he's got a lot of long hair in that area.
