As some of you may recall I posted asking if anyone has information (pro or con) about the Scottish Terrier Group of Greater New York Rescue and I was in the process for adoption of a yorkie pup with them. I was concerned that they didn't e-mail me for 2 days after I told them that I turned in K9 Lifesavers (Barley's "rescue") for his horrible conditions, as I thought it scarred them away from me. It didn't! In fact we're leaving in an hour to go get the little munchkin from Clarksville, VA. I'm so excited!
I'm told she had a breeder who realized she couldn't manage the yorkies once her daughter got married and moved out, so she contacted STG and asked if they'd take them and rehome them. I know as of last week there were 2 babies and some adults still needing a home. I've offered to take photos for the foster (as she's maintaining the horses and her DH as he recovers from recent surgery...the surgery is why she didn't contact me for a few days). I'm hoping all goes well today and my faith in humanity is restored some
I will keep you all posted and maybe be able to post pictures of the other babies that are looking for forever homes...and of my new baby.
