I have a 1 acre lot with 3/4 of it fenced in. My babies mainly potty outside and do so even in the winter (granted I am in NC so we have true seasons) I also do the piddle pads for when it rains, snows, or ices... I like the fact they are trained on both for their comfort. As far as walks, I do not walk mine... I let them play in the fenced in area a little as I watch from the sunroom. I surely would not walk mine in the bitter cold!
