OK you can use several good treats such as getting the Natural Balance logs and cutting them up into small pieces, Cheerios, or any tiny small kibble that he likes. Or the mini Zukes will work.
The thing here is to make them small as when you train you use a lot and you don't want them to get full before you are done training. Also I try to keep the training treats special and only use the special treats for training.
