I can still remember when my lil girl had her puppies in June, it seems just like yesterday. They are a lot of fun but I understand about the sleepless nights and the lack of sleep from the constant worry about the mama and her puppies. I've learned from Hershie's litter that the mama does need time to herself so that she can unwind and get the love she needs from her mama, meaning you. When it comes time to weam the puppies, if you get a onesy for newborn babies to put on the mama, you'll have to cut out a hole for the tail, it will allow her to continue to be around her babies and play with them without worrying about the puppies trying to sneak some milk from the mama.
