hahahha...this was precious....I'm still laughing.
The tests were ok. He didn'r eat before getting to the vet (I was so scared I didn't even think about feeding him first, I just wanted to get him somewhere safer than home!). But the vet said sometimes when they get out, or even get to the vet office (and recognize it) the adrenaline rush kicks up the blood sugar level for a while, and if that's what was happening when they did the test then it would show normal blood sugar!
Now there was another problem this morning. Very weird, please please any input would be greatly appreciated:
Took him to the pee pad this morning. He usually lifts the leg and lands a few drops on the corner. This morning, he squatted (like boys dogs do sometimes when they can't find a vertical sirface, you know? Like leaning forward a bit and peeing) and he started to pee. And he peed, and peed and peed and peed...honestly he was peeing for a good 30 seconds, and the pee circle on the pad was getting bigger and bigger (mind you, we're talking a bout a tiny little guy under 3 pounds). I was so surprosed, and was wondering when it was ever going to end! So I sat down and looked under the belly, there was nothing coming out at this time, but he continued to "squat", trying to squeeze something out. And then after a few seconds the final 2-3 drops came out and he walked away. Ok, maybe it's only my imagination, but I think the last 3 drops were kinda colourful. I think I saw a very very faint "red" tint. Inly those last drops. But then again, might have been the light in the bathroom, I don't know. Any idea what happened this morning again???????
