WHen I got tippy he was completely matted so I trimmed him under the matting to 1/4 inch. Now his hair has grown to about 1 1/2 inches and he is so beautiful. His hair is now falling down over his nose and looks good. It's not long enough yet to pull up to a top knot. There is this little space of 1/4 inch right between his little eyes. Does this go up or down???? Right now it goes every way. What would happen if if kept this little spot shaved. HMmm I hate to take him to a groomer until it grows out a little more.
