Has your vet confirmed your fur baby is underweight? Or do you just think your fur baby is thin and not plumpy rolly polly? If your vet feels your fur baby's weight is at a healthy range I wouldn't worry too much. If you start over feeding it might turn into health problems later.

If you are real concerned keep in close contact with your vet so both of you can monitor him to make sure he is getting all the nutrition he needs.

The only reason I say this is Schatzie was on the real trim side as a pup, and her vet confirmed she was always healthy and growing. Well, she never did get plump. She is long and lean now, very dainty I guess you'd might say even though she is on the larger scale for Yorkie's.
