| Hi Marci I just started to run this past March and I sometimes get those terrible side cramps..my trainer told me it's because I am not drinking enough water to get my body hydrated and she is right. I also asked my new trainer and he said the same thing. It's true because on the days I drink a lot of water I can run with no problem...on days I don't...the cramps are there.
