Actually no, I have been making them stop breeding during Lily's pregnancy, she is stopping him now as well. I believe Lily is approx. 49 days pregnant although has no belly yet. I have taken her to the vet, who says she is completely healthy. The vet only asked me when I thought her due date was. I wasn't sure at first if she did get pregnant as our sire was only 6 1/2 mos. old at the time, however her teats and vagina are swollen and have been since the end of her heat cycle, so I guess I am assuming she is pregnant. She was very lethargic for the first month but is now gaining some of her energy back. Her appetite is good. I am a new breeder with Yorkies. I used to breed Boxers and was a member of the CKC years ago. I do have experience but havn't had these types of symptoms with any of my Boxers. Any advice from anyone with Lily's symptoms would be welcomed. She appears "thicker" around the rib cage and of course heavier but no "pregnant looking belly". Max, my sire is very small, (3lbs.) could this be why she isn't showing yet?
