Recently i asked what the gagging sound my yorkie was making was. Well someone wrote and said maybe kennel cough. My dogs were exposed to a puppy that my son just purchased at Petland who we later found out was sick with kennel cough.
My first youngest yorkie caught the cough, then the second yorkie caught it, and my shi-poo was given an injection so she does not get it. My vet bills were a little over 200$. Always heard of kennel cough but my pets never got it. They are doing very well on their medicine. Beware though of pets from Petland. I will never again let my babies near a new puppy from there or anywhere else, until the owner knows that their new pet is not sick.
P.S. Happy Birthday to my Roxy, she turned 2 today.
