Clean the area with an enzymatic cleaner, may need 2 or 3 treatments. Sometimes it can take months for the hormones to get out of their systems. When I brought my newly rescued Yorkie home she had been spayed a week earlier. She humped everything in sight! Talk about panic ... all I could think of was oh my gosh what have I gotten myself into this time?????? That was in April, I removed her favorite humpy thing, and now I had almost forgotten that she did that. I was seriously beginning to look for replacement hormones for dogs!!!! |
