IDK, it would make me very nervous knowing that she still has a placenta retained; I have heard that it can take a little while to come, but I think I'd opt for the shot to make sure she gets it out. Are you sure it's still there? Maybe she ate it without your knowing. But even if that were the case, you still don't KNOW for sure.
I love the "just born" pics; still in the sack. It's amazing isn't it?  I always think about getting shots like that, but get caught up in the moment and helping mom get the baby out, that I miss those kodak moments. So, great pics! |
Thank you... Since its her first litter I really wanted lots of pics so I took advantage of her whelping...

About placenta, She has green discharge, so it believe it is there. I just found out my vet doesn't have the shot... I need to look for nearby vet to make an appointment. Yes, it made me so nervous, I couldn't sleep at all... well better look for nearby vet...
