how much does your dog weigh? I just had his teeth cleaned on friday so I'm wondering when I should start brushing.... I dont know if he's still in pain, he's on 2 antiobiotics for the next few days.

Do you think he'll start eating more now that his teeth are clean?
If the gums are not inflamed u can start brushing but remember to be gentle... my baby is still a puppy she weighs 14 ounces and is 15 weeks, i give her a small piece of dental stick everyday for her to chew ( works the gums ) also, use a "baby toothbrush" on ur little one, the bristles are much softer... the toothpaste thats available at petstores and vet's have a meaty or chicken flavour so ur baby will love it, thats really the trick but remember that U have to do the brushing.
It pays off in the long run

Dental stick are softer then the greenies.
