You're going to want to seriously think about whether you really want your "pet" to be a "stud". We did that with our toy poodle a long time ago. He was never quite the same afterwards. They say that the dog's personality can change..... his didn't BUT he was a marking fool after that. Ruined our carpets! That is one of the main things you're going to want to think about. I don't know anything about the recommended age of a stud but breeders on here are also going to ask if you've had all the necessary testing done on him. Good luck with your decision!
