While yelling no will stop action it also gets him a great deal of wonderful attention and I sure the fuss made over him dragging and hiding the poop is amazling. What wonderful reinforcing behaviour these humans give.
Dogs do not care if it bad or good attention just that they are getting noticed.

ignore it and only pay attention when he is doing his poops outside.
Get his access to the house greatly limited so that he is only pooping in areas as in on paper or pee pads or outside. I even do the tether training so that he is out and about thehouse ony with him on the end of a leash.

Take him out and go with him and fuss at him when he is outside an pooping where you want him too.
Pass out the treats as soon as the poop hits the grounds outside.

Dogs do not have the level of thinking that is needed to hide poop to stay out of trouble. More like he is hiding a rescourse that the humans keep taking as in a squiral hiding nuts or a coyotoe stashing a kill.
