I've been grooming for 32 or so years and the majority of those years I used the osters. That said, they run very hot, blow air and hair in your face and jam frequently. Someone told me about the Andis AGC 2 speed, love em!
I use them daily and never had a problem with them. I do have to use two sets of blades, as soon as one gets hot I change it out for another and put the hot one on the marble window sill to cool. If you're planning on going to grooming school I would suggest the Andis. Good luck and remember, practice makes perfect.
