Default Mine cried for 2 days

Mine didnt bark in the crate the first nite but he looked so sad and would wimper a lot. I made sure his crate was right next to my bed so he can see me. I put a warm baby blanky just for him and two toys in there. He only cried for about 30 min or so the first night. By the third night he was sleeping the whole night. He was awake early in the morning but did not make a single sound until he sees my husband or I getting out of bed. Then he'll start scratching the crate gate.He has napped in bed with me but not with my husband in bed. My hubby always sleeps in the middle of the bed and takes too much space! My little guy ( COOKIE) is in bed right next to my hip sound asleep.
They will get used to a routine.Just keep doing what you are doing.I got mine when he was about 13+ weeks old. So I can imagine it is probably tougher on you since your baby is only 8 weeks old.Mine finally is over his shyness and loves to run like a little rabbit around the entire house! I do keep him confined most of the day if I am here ,I keep him in the family room while he's being paper trained. So far he's about 70% trained.I take him to work with me also and I have paper trained him there 99%. Since we are in a smaller area at work he knows there is only one corner to do his business! And he runs to the newspaper to do it too lol.
I know you will enjoy your new baby. They are so much joy .
