I know this a bit late in the game but...

My sisters Maltese has had the red stains in and off for years. It helps for awhile and then I guess a tolerance builds up. I was there this summer and used about 1/8th to 1/4 the amount and it cleared up my Yorkies tearing. I told my sis that it has an antibiotic in it but she didn't believe me. Then she gets frustrated because it doesn't go away after a while.

I'm trying to find something else for my Yorkie instead. He doesn't tear here like he did at her place. She has tile floors and I have carpet. I vac twice a week with a good filtered vacuum cleaner and I know that helps. Her floors only get cleaned once a week and not very well. I truly feel keeping your floors as clean as you can helps this. After all, they are very close to the floor being so small or short.

If you find something else that you think is better, please email me a message. Would be greatful.
