Something similar happened to Bear. We spent lots of $$ on blood panels and vet visits without any indication as to what it was. The vet could find no issues with blood sugar or any vital organ issues. So we back tracked to when the problem started.
We introduced a female into our family and began using her food because the previous owner said she has a sensitive stomach- Royal Canin. A friend suggested we look at the ingredients in the food for answers and that it could be the difference in one having sugar beets and one not.
Low and behold it was the food. We switched back to Natural Choice and have not had an episode since.
Yorkies and all small dogs are prone to hypoglycemia. Stress can bring it on in a hurry. Long bouts of play with no water or food/snacks can as well.
Your baby could have had an episode like Bear. We keep packets of honey on us where ever we go, if he became listless, disoriented or seized we put the honey on his tongue and in 20 minutes or so, he was right as rain. Of course, the idea is to keep them from stress in the first place, but the honey is worth a pound of cure.
